Birth
March 17th, 1975, we saw the birth of a prince, a child born to a state-proclaimed king Dr. Rajkumar and Parvathamma Rajkumar, who went by the name Lohith during childhood.
A born artist, he was always a star.
Throughout his journey, he was involved in a total of 52 movies. 14 as a child artist, 6 of which he played minor roles in, 2 extended cameo roles, 29 movies with him as a lead actor, and finally 1 documentary style movie.
Introduced to the world as “Master Rajkumar (Lohith)” on Feb 28th 1976, through his first movie Premada Kanike as a Child Artist.
He continued on his journey as a Child Artist until the age of 14 with a total of 14 movies before he took a break in 1989 from cinema with no certain plans of coming back as a lead actor.
Marriage
At the age of 24, he took a step into starting a new chapter in his personal life. On December 1st, 1999, he finally decided to tie the knot to Ms. Ashwini. The couple then welcomed 2 kids Drithi and Vanditha in the years 2003 and 2005 respectively.
Career
Following his marriage he had stepped back into the film industry as a prominent lead actor in the year 2002.

He came back roaring onto the silver screen on the 26th of April 2002 with the movie Appu alongside actress Rakshitha, directed my Mr. Puri Jaganath.

The movie which completed a successful 200 days gave him not only the title “Powerstar” but also the name “Appu” which has now become a household name and how everyone refers to him.
In 2021, with 29 movies completed and released, that was not it.
For a man who was dedicated to the world of cinema, he had left behind a lot for his fans even after he had physically left them. Things words cannot explain, among which were 3 movies. 1 Commercial movie, 1 movie with an extened cameo role, and 1 brilliant documentary style movie titled Gandhadhagudi. All of which were released in 2022.
Other Work
Apart from being a wonderful actor, he also sang plenty of songs both as a child artist and an actor, and had started this tradition of singing a song for each of his movies.

Apart from this, he contributed to the entertainment industry in multiple ways, some of which were voice overs for movies, guest appearances, and couple of TV reality shows.

He also setup his own Production house along with his wife in 2017, with the aim of promoting new and upcoming stars in the industry.
